Wheaton Police Department

The department has 92 full and part-time employees split across three main divisions: Administration, Operations (which covers patrol, traffic, and civilian service officers), and Support (which covers investigations, narcotics, and records). All 911 calls route through DU-COMM, the DuPage Public Safety Communications center. Wheaton does not have its own jail, so everyone arrested goes to the DuPage County jail. The county facility is close by since Wheaton is the county seat.
